Feeling a little bit broken, a little bit elated. It's weird to hold such contrasting emotions in my head at once. Went to the protest and ended up right at the front, because I'm such a short ass. I'm praying my boss doesn't see anything in the news about it, because then I'm fired. Well, I sort of told her the truth. After all, Kent County Council thinks I'm sick :-) I don't know why that amuses me.

Only got a little bit of abuse, which was actually quite refreshing. It made me remember how numb in the head most homophobes are. What kind of insult is: 'Well, you're all a bunch of lesbians anyway!'? Hmm, well, yes. In fact, that's kind of the whole point. Muppets.

In the end, we all went to Maidstone's only gay pub, (woo hoo *sarcasm*) and sat around talking. Kelvin and I sat there and talked about Buffy for ages! He's even more of a nut than me, which I never thought possible. He may also love Tara more than I do.

Anyway, came home and am now eating chips from the fish & chip shop and listening to Hole. Okay, I'm singing along too. I have work tomorrow, but I suppose it's all money. I suppose.
